RELAXing at "la bonne vie"
Culture
"La Bonne Vie" is surrounded by winegrowers which produce their wines the authentical way and is situated on the "route de Grands Vins". "La Bonne Vie" organises frequently guided tours. Click here for more information.
The region features also many castles and museums.
Especially for children we organise an adapted guided tour in Dutch to the castle of Brandon the Wednesday afternoons (high season).
Nature
In Chalon-sur-Saône:
Place mathias: a garden with eight different milieus and a big birdcage.
Parc St.Nicolas: rosegarden with 26.000 species
Le Creusot:
Parc de la Verrerie: 28 hectares with many rare trees. Also animals and playing grounds for children.
Daily on Sunday 2-3 hours from Ecuisses on the Canal du Centre, possible in combination with lunch and aperitif aboard and a visit to the Canal museum.

You need a fishing permit, which can be bought in the neighbourhood.
You can fish in the Canal du Centre and his reservoirs, the lake of Torcy or Montaubry and the small brook next to our terrain.
Most of the time people fish at pike-perch, perch, carp and white fish.
In a woody, quiet surrounding you find a golf terrain with 18 holes.
You can follow the tracks at once or in parts. It's got a club home with a bar, a terrace, a restaurant and a shop. You can rent caddies and other equipment.
We can make a reservation for you.
Our park is part of several walking-tours through forests and vineyards. Walking maps are available. Close to the park you can join documented bicycle-tours.
Besides walking and bicycling in the surroundings you can opt for golfing, fishing, a boat excursion or visit botanical gardens.
Going out
Hypermarchés are the big supermarkets where France is so well known for. You can find anything here, from baking powder to televisions.
You can find them nearby the big cities.
In the small authentic villages or larger cities, full of cultural attractions, you may go for shopping in the hypermarchés or visit the heart of the cities.
Enjoy the market places with local products, antique offerings or the flea market.
Do you like to enjoy a fantastic Burgundian meal or would you rather go gambling in the casino? "Maître Pierre" will tell you all about it!
Each year several happenings revive in the surroundings.
Playground children
La Bonne Vie has many possibilities for children and grownups.
You can find for example:
- a swimming pool (depth 90 cm - 2 m); suitable for children of all ages. The swimming pool is not heated;
- over 10 Mammout skelters for children and parents;
- walking bikes for the smallest children;
- swings, a seesaw, slides, basketball, a Wine too tent etc;
- a football field;
- feeding ducks;
- a jeux de boules terrain and a ping pong table.
"La Bonne Vie" has lots of playing facilities for kids and adults. In its surroundings are many attractions for children.
"La Bonne Vie" has 2 ponies, Addy and Raider. They stay in a field surrounded by a fence with gates that serves also to walk about.
The ponies are ride able and easy to handle in traffic. For small kids we have a pony coach available.

As an extra activity "La Bonne Vie" organises the children's day.
